Amen, brother! I only liked it for Naked!Jackman which was suitably epic for my tastes. But considering they pissed on my second and third fave characters in the entire Marvel universe, I was duly annoyed. The fact that they couldn't be bothered to have decent CGI also irked me greatly.

BTW, I'm moving to Chicago next week. We totally have to meet finally.

I can't deny the fanboy inside of me was saddened, but the movie's pretty shitty on the level of general cinema as well.

Of course it sucks. I recommend you to watch "The Uninvited". It has the "Ben-X effect" close to the end of the movie.

I didn't think it sucked like X-Men 3 sucked, but it definitely squandered a whole lot of opportunities. For example, there is ONE THING you can possibly do to screw up The Merc With The Mouth, and that's EXACTLY THE THING THEY DID.

On the other hand, I think they got the Wolverine/Sabertooth dynamic right. And they made me feel something besides indifferent disdain for Gambit.

I agree with you on Sabertooth, he was badass.

But yo, at least X-Men 3 had kick ass special effects. Wolverine's claws in this one looked like fuckin' Toy Story.
